recommend your swing and bouncer

Hi Everyone,

I currently researching swings and bouncer seats.  I am leaning toward FP's little lamb swing.  Anyone love/hate theirs?

I am a little more all over the place with bouncers- so post your recs!

I am pregnant with twins and plan on only getting one swing to see if they both like it before I get a second.  I will probably register for 2 bouncers.

TIA!

Re: recommend your swing and bouncer

  • We got the Fisher Price My Little Snug-A-Bunny swing and bouncer. Our baby isn't here yet so I'm not sure how much he'll like them but we put my niece in them and she LOVED both. They're kind of expensive (the swing was like $150 and the bouncer was like $65) but easy to put together and worth it.

  • We have the little lamb swing and DS LOVED it. If I were you, I would consider the snugabunny only because you can plug it in and it's the same as the lamb otherwise.

  • We have the sungabunny swing and bouncer.  Both were recommended to us by friends with infants.  Our baby isn't here yet so I can't speak from experience.  I also agree with pp about snugabunny over the lamb swing because the bunny can be plugged in.

Thanks ladies... I just updated my reg for the snugabunny (deleted the Little Lamb), I hate the idea of using tons of batteries.  The reviews I said that they are basically the same thing.

  • We had the Little Lamb swing up until 3 days ago. We were having problems with it and the motor (FP was going to send me a new one) is on backorder until May 30. Instead, they are giving me a refund so I bought the Snugabunny instead. It is sooooo much better. It does cost more, but it's worth the $$ you save on batteries. You can unplug it and use batteries if you need to - it's nice to have to option. the fabric is also easier to clean and the frame seems more stable. My favorite part: it's QUIET. The LL was soooo loud.

For the bouncer, we have the Bright Starts Comfort & Harmony. It's ok, I guess, but I could totally live without it. There are a lot of other bouncers out there that are a lot more enganging for baby to look at.

  • Thanks everyone!

The bunny is sounding like a winner  :-)
