full sized bed?!

Alright, my husband and i share a full size bed.  I've been ok with it, but I'm afraid as my belly gets larger, that are cozy bed perfect for cuddling will be just too cramped!!!  Has anyone kept their full size bed through pregnancy and has input?  Ya know how it is with baby expenses coming up, and we need new carpet through the house and a new vehicle...is it worth shelling out more for a bed?

I know I don't want a king size-we had one on our honeymoon and we hardly cuddled at all-it was huge...plus we'll be selling our house sometime with in the next 5 years (hopefully) so a king size would really make our room shrink...not so appealing to potential buyers...

Re: full sized bed?!

  • oh I love the king size!!!! I would never go back to a full! I figured it would be great when I look like a house and don't want to be touched. My DH is like a oven!

  • Holy cow, I haven't slept alone in a full size bed since I was eight. We barely have room now and we have a king! I would say you'll definitely outgrow a full size in a few months.
  • We had a full, but DH's parents bought us a queen for our wedding present. We also love to cuddle, but most nights are fighting for space on the queen size...

  • thanks...love the pic of you with the heart on your baby belly-adorable!
  • I love our full sized bed! We will not be getting a bigger bed. Two reasons ~Money and also we couldn't get it up the stairs :D

    We will work it out.

  • We have a queen sized bed that is more than big enough for the two of us plus the big pillow I use to support my stomach when sleeping on my side. Oh, and our cat. I think you can make it work with a full sized bed. I'd save your money since buying a new bed, mattress and boxspring isn't going to be cheap.
  • We have a queen and we're just fine.
  • DH and I had a full size bed my entire pregnancy with my first child and it worked out. I think you'll be fine.
