Squishing baby while sleeping?

I know this may be silly.....whenever I lay on my right side my baby kicks like crazy. I know his feet are over there and I am paranoid that I am somehow squishing/hurting him. As soon as I switch to my left he calms down. I have to ask my Dr just to ease my mind. 

 Anyone else? Does you LO object to any specific sleeping positions???

She seems to move around a lot, in general, for the first few minutes after I lay down on the bed on either my left or right side. It feels like she's trying to get a new comfortable position or something.

Same thing happens when i lay on my right side. its like shes tap dancing in there. i had a scan the otherday and ever time they went near her feet she wriggled like crazy the ultra sound tech thought it was hillarious. I guess she doesnt like her feet being touched or shes ticklish lol defonatly not getting squashed though so i wouldnt worry to much

My son is particular about my sleep positions.  I'm not even allowed to recline lol.  He differs day to day though on whether he prefers me to lie on my right or left side though. LOL

Don't worry. You're not squishing the baby. You can't. I sometimes sleep on my stomach/side, and my doctor told me it's totally fine. the baby is well protected in there.

My baby kicks whatever side I'm laying on for a good 10-15 minutes when I lay down. Then, she seems to settle down and find a new position. It's weird because I can feel her weight shift to whatever side I'm laying on.

Amazingly enough, I can still sleep on my back, which she doesn't mind at all... but if I sleep on my LEFT side (the one that is recommended for better circulation and blah blah blah), she flips out on me for 30+ minutes, unless I move to my right side. lol Silly babies.

You cant squish him! Mine kicks the mattress regardless of what side I sleep on. I think he just has his own preferences as to how I sleep and is voicing his opinion.

yup, My little guy dislikes me laying on my right or left side and will kick and push at the bed until I move. I often have to lay on my back with my back against a pillow so I am slightly angled and he is happy with that.

Mine does this too! I haven't slept on my left side for months now!
