DH is running a race with some friends this morning, and then we are having a bunch of people over for brunch after...i prepped a lot of stuff last night, so i should be in good shape this morning!

Menu:

Homemade bagels (i've only made these once, and it was in a cooking class, so we'll see how they turn out lol i may have to run to the store)

Mini Fruttata cups with mushrooms, peppers, and parmesean 

Waffles in the waffle iron

Fruit Salad

Breakfast Potatoes

coffee and iced coffee, juice

I'm looking forward to having everyone over! I used to cook for our friends all the time, but not lately lol

So our moms hang in the same social circle, huh?  My mom was supposed to take my dd home with her for the night so I could so some work and actually rest while mh partied in the city for a bach party. Well, she made up 12 excuses til Tuesday and I just said ended up agreeing and saying, "yup, dd will be better off here." I stay saner when I give up.

Why oh Why does my toddler wake up at 4, 5, and 6 on a weekend night?  Needless to say sleep has escaped me.  Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

My husband left for the week on business.  It's girls week at our house .  We need to go the store for some food and some crafting stuff.  Other then that, we have no plans!

DH is headed out on a business trip today, so I plan to hit up redbox and rent a few movies and relax with DS this afternoon/evening.

Morning mamas. I am in an exceedingly good mood because I slept for 4 1/2 hours straight last night.  Freakin' miracle!!!

I am helping DH finish the last of the sheetrock and then trying to help him mud the seams and screw holes.  Hopefully I will be halfway decent at it so we get this last horrible stage of our remodel DONE!  But first I have to run to the store for milk and cinnamon rolls (DH's request)
