I went back part-time for a few hours today at our local grocery bakery.
Oy. Vey. For some reason, April is *super* busy in the birthday cake department.
Here are some gems I iced today and the ages (I thought about taking pictures, but was afraid that'd be some breach of privacy or something):
-Moss Ann (1)
-Cyrus (Just NMS) (1)
-Blue (6)
-Hayven (4)
-Kortnee (14)
-Bashton (Age not on cake)
-Holee (2).
I'm glad I get a week to recuperate from these names before I have to do more!
For fun: My favorite name of the day was:
Rose Elizabeth (2).

I used to work in a bakery. The worst one that I ever saw had to be Philanders Jr.
Another one that bugged me was a couple where the dad was Mexican and the mom was white. The girl's name was spelled Raquel, but they decided to pronounce it Rachel. I was seriously side eying the heck out of them. Since when does a q make the ch sound?
By that logic i could name spell my child's name gdsgfaskjfh and pronounce it Jane.
I am hoping it's just a nn for Sebastian and not his real name. For his sake.
That would make me happier, but I'm guessing if the parents could spell Sebastian, then they could pull off Bastian. Logic does escape some people though. I'll just hope for the best.
