My shower is actually tomorrow, so I've been stalking extra in the past couple days. Initially, I'd get excited that things were bought, but now I'm a little confused that only 9 items have been bought, out of like 60 on my BRU registry (25 people coming to the shower).
My shower isn't until next month so I'm not registry stalking just yet But ladies don't be sad...most people will get you gift cards or some people may purchase from the store and forget to have their items taken off the registry. And let's not forget the last minute folks
My birthday is Monday, I have one shower on Wednesday and another shower on Saturday. I do registry stalk, but only 1 thing has been purchased off of either registry, so it is making me sad to think that people are only going to give me clothes (I know my mom bought something off of the but didn't take it off of the registry because she wanted me to be surprised). I wish people would though, because both registries have a lot of the same items on them and I would like to take them off of the other one if something is purchased so I don't get two of them.

Girl- 99% of the time, I am buying a gift on the way to the shower. I'm sure you'll be good
I'm a little stalkery myself. At first it was just because I kept changing my mind on things, but then I noticed a few things were being bought. My shower is next weekend, too (seems a popular date), and I haven't had much bought either. The fact that I am a last minute buyer makes me a little more at ease about the limited items purchased.

My big registry is on amazon - it's getting a bit late for last minute purchases - my shower is next Sat! But hey, I'll have fun shopping after the fact!

My first one is next Saturday. My Target reg has been showing 2 things purchased forever (my grandmother) but I checked yesterday and it said 7!! I love the counter feature so I don't actually see what was purchased, but I know something was!

I know I don't wait until the last minute to shop. As soon as I say I am going, I buy the gift to give myself plenty to pick from on someone's registry and less frustration in finding something.
I'm addicted to registry stalking and now I've got MH in on it too. My shower isn't for another 3 weeks and 11 things have been purchased including the bedding set, swing and pack and play!

I do registry stalk... and I'm kind of sad not too much has been bought yet. lol My shower is next weeend so I'm sure this week or even on Saturday itself a lot will be bought off the registry. I am going to try and make myself not look at it all week.

This Obviously I don't expect people to buy things I need for baby but it would be nice to get things I actually need and not just things that will take up space.

Mines tomorrow too, and only 4 items have been purchased. I'm a little worried.
I am up to 12, 34, and 25 items bought on my 3 registries and there are over 50 people invited to my april 30 shower but 25 have yet to respond.
My shower is the 30th too! I check once and a while but so far nothing has been bought and I have only had 2 people RSVP. But the invites have only been out for about a week.

My shower is in 4 weeks, so I don't expect anything to be gone yet. I'm a notorious last minute shopper! And, sadly, I don't usually buy off of registries.
I usually spend ~$50 on a babyshower gift. I always get a $25 GC to where they are registered and then I buy stuff from their registry online or at Marshalls/TJ Maxx/ Ross.
My Marshalls has Swaddle Me blankets for $5.99/each -- that's half the price from BRU & BBB. I don't see the point in spending more money for the same exact item just so it comes off the registry. I also buy onsies and Carters sleepers there for a fraction of the price.
I check mine a lot. My shower is a surprise (but I think I figured out when). I was so happy to see our travel system and pack and play purchased. There's a few other big things purchased but we really need these so I'm excited.
My showering next weekend too and only 2 things have been bought off the registry it makes me sad but I know most of my friends are last minute shoppers. There were 40 people invited and I know of a few that can't make it but the invite said RSVP regrets only, so there is no telling how many people aren't coming but forgot to RSVP
My work shower is coming up on Tuesday- and, funny story, we didn't intend to do a registry. I made one at Babies R Us just to keep a running list of what we still needed to buy (and for the completion coupons) but we hadn't advertised it to anyone. Then I happened to be on there last week and was like umm wait-what? People are buying things? Then I had to run in and stick on a bunch of things with smaller ticket prices just in case more people found it.
I literally only had necessities on there, like a second car seat base, crib mattress pads, swing, that kind of stuff so the first people on there probably thought 1) I was really greedy and only asking for large ticket items (with few exceptions like the mattress pad) and 2) we are incredibly boring.
