Now is not the time...

I have a "cart" full of clothes that I want to buy (some things for me and a couple shirts for DH, mostly for our trip to CA) and I'm trying to talk myself out of buying it!  =P

We do need a few things, but if we went without we would be fine too.  I shopped through the "Clearance" and found some good deals, and I normally wouldn't hesitate.  Our paycheck is only half of what it should be, but we have our savings and I have a separate account with money that is for our trip (and typically "my" spending money).  I was going to take some from that account for these clothes, and my only hesitation is in wondering will I regret it should it take a ridiculously long time for the budget to be straightened out, and for us to get paid again.

  • Crisis averted.  =P

I sometimes forget that we have credit cards, since we never use them (seriously, I think we've used credit cards twice since we've been married)!  So after showing DH what I was looking at, he picked out a couple more shirts and we used our credit card that has no interest, that way as soon as our paychecks are back on track we can pay it off right away with no penalty.

    Thanks for listening!
