What do you think DC will do when they grow up?
Just for fun, based on your child's interests right now, what do you think they'll choose as a job/profession when they grow up.
DS#1 - zoologist. He's almost 5 and he can't get enough of animal shows/books. He's often spouting off random animal facts.
DS#2 - drive an ambulance. He LOVES seeing firetrucks/ambulances. He's 2, but he's said to me, "I going to drive an amblance, Momma."

I have no idea, but I think about this all the time! With dh and I both being engineers, we always joke that R will probably be a sociology major or something! (No offense to any sociologists out there...just a joke!
)
Christmas 2011
Ben - construction worker or electrician (some type of trade) or train engineer (conductor?)
Nat - some type of performer or comedienne
Eli - (based on personality) engineer or scientist - he's a deep thinker (at at least I think he is!)
Gabi - sh!t stirrer. She's always causing trouble.
DS -- engineer or some techy career. He loves building things: Lego, K'nex, Tinkertoys, blocks, Lincoln Logs
DD -- her generation's Martha Stewart. She's a crafty little thing and very neat and tidy.

dd - a surgeon or a college professor (either bio or lit)... she's very interested in the human body, nature, and reading. she's said that she wants to cut kids open and fix them so they feel better. but if you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up she says she's just a kid and she's not growing up yet. lol. she definitely will not give us grandbabies as she's not at all interested. she loves her american girl doll and her barbies.. .but not a fan of baby dolls
ds- an engineer or architect or fireman... he's very good at building things with his building blocks (wooden, trio and legos), and he's been obsessed with firetrucks for 2 years now. ds will be a great daddy. he'll be the one to give us a 1/2 dozen grandbabies. he loves baby dolls, will feed them and take care of them.
DS1 - A historian. He wants to know the back-story on everything and remembers even the tiniest details. That, or a racecar driver.
DS2 - A salesman of some sort. He's very charismatic and persistent...a lethal combination because people already want to give him what he wants and he won't stop until he gets it. Or I think it would be ironic if he was a singer, actor or public speaker since he doesn't talk yet now.
DD - Something artistic. I don't know why, but I think she'll have a flair for all things creative (perhaps because it's common with the women in my family to be artsy).
I really hope one of my kids will be good musicians. I always wished I had musical talent (especially vocally), but I'm wretched. I'd love it if one of my kids could serenade me.
Based on right now she will be the star of a Disney movie like Camp Rock orHSM. All she does is play the same parts over and over until she can learn the dances.
Realistically, I see her being a vet. She loves animals and is always trying to take care of ours.
This... word for word. I almost spit water out of my mouth when I read this because it suits my DD perfectly!
Pretty much anything that would let Bossy McBosster be in control would suit DD perfectly! She's always large and in charge - the total ring leader! It scares me a little.
Based on their interests right now?
Ds: A starving artist or an archeologist (but maybe not when he discovers that digs aren't as exciting as an Indiana Jones movie.)
Dd: A chicken farmer.
DD1 - a teacher or childcare provider, she's so nurturing to younger children
DD2 - in jail
DS1 - probably a lawyer. He argues about everything and he is pretty good at it.
DS2 - comedian or entertainer. He is really funny. He makes funny faces all the time and constantly makes us laugh.
DD a professional student, while she loves to learn new things and picks up on the quickly she is pretty lazy when it comes to anythning that actually involves work, but for real I see her being some type of scientist, she loves science and anything related to it, I hate it so much so this is way out of my league
DS hmm a professional sharp shooter, guns guns and more guns. We don't even own any toy guns yet every thing shoots everything else and everything is a gun. I could see him being an engineer like his Dad too, he loves putting things together, building things and anything that flies, he has been obessed with birds since he was six months old and now it is planes and rocketships. So I wil go with aerospace engineer who designs missles to put the two together.
DD says she wants to be a firefighter like Daddy.
ETA: DH started saying he wanted to be a firefighter when he was three. DH takes DD to meetings at the fire station and sometimes even minor calls with the volunteer department. (In his own truck, of course). She.loves.it. We ran into the head fire investigator the other day and he told us that DD has been to more investigation meetings and classes than some of the actual investigators.
Needless to say, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she actually becomes a firefighter.
