So my bathtub is disgusting and my hubby doesn't seem to care. I want to take a nice bubble bath during my alone time. I have soft scrub which has bleach in it. If I use a mask and make sure the bathroom is ventilated will I be ok,

I don't know anything about what's safe and what's not but you could use vinegar and water with some baking soda if you'd rather:  All are completely safe.

I cleaned with Soft Scrub while pg and DS is fine.  I was more concerned about getting bleach on my clothes with my belly.

I think you'll be fine.  Can you open a window and/or turn on a fan just in case?

I have some method tub scrub...it smells minty and is non toxic. You are welcome to grab it from me or maybe I'll just go leave some on your doorstep. Is that creepy? lol Eta: I cleaned with vinegar while pg and it made me crave salt and vinegar chips in a major way!

I would ask my DH that question as a way to guilt him into doing it!! :-)

My OB has said that things like cleaning solutions and even hair dye are ok as long as the room is ventilated and you try not to hover in it, breathing in as little as you can.

Switch to plant based cleaners and you'll be good to go.

This is what we do, especially since this is the "kids tub". However, I might be taking over in the next week or so.....
