I cannot stand when people on FB take self portraits and post them. I have a cousin who does this constantly. Yeah I guess someone might say he is attractive but not god's gift to women or anything. When I see self portraits taken just because they think they look hot, it's annoying. They're also not smiling but more of a "don't you think I'm sexy" look. He's also had 3 or 4 professional photo shoots done. He is trying to make it in the music business but come on. How about a professional photo shoot with your wife and new baby. Oh and we're not talking about a kid here. My cousin is 36. Sooo annoying.

uggh, I am dreading having him back in bed with me! The Rssn is uncannily hot . . . I tell him it's b/c of Chernobyl. I've actually been comfortable (temp-wise) at night this week! AND I've stolen his pillows and made myself a pillow nest. Now I'll have to give them back and/or worry about him fitting in bed with me again. Le sigh.

I'm so frustrated with my parents.  They had someone come out to evaluate their heating and cooling system this week, and whoever it was told them they need to replace the whole thing.  This of course is going to cost a whole lot, and they refuse to get a second opinion as to whether or not they need all this work on their house.  My dad is one of those people who thinks it is rude to question how much something costs.  I tried talking to them about it yesterday and they weren't having any of it.  It is just frustrating that they won't even have someone come out and tell them if they need this hugely expensive work done.  Argh.

Yesterday I breakfast was a muffin, yogurt, a banana, and a power bar, lunch was a burger, onion rings w/ ranch dressing, and a brownie, and dinner was a basket of chips w/ queso, (fried) fish tacos, and two margaritas. Add me to team healthy, please.

Oh no!! When our AC went out, the first opinion told us to repalce the whole thing, inside and out and it would cost $15,000 The second opinion told us to replace the entire inside unit for $6,000 The third opinion told us the inside coils needed cleaning .... it cost us $10 and took my husband half a day. Knock on wood, it's still working (and, I should mention, is 29 years old). I really hope you can talk them into a second opinion!

My confession ... I didn't really buy my husband any food at the grocery store. He's got food, as long as he'll eat what I eat. But our fridge and pantry are full of my favorite foods. It's hard work shopping with a 15 pound baby hanging off your chest! And just picking my favorite foods was way easier than thinking and planning for what he'll want to eat.

For a moment on Wednesday, I felt like I was having labor pains and I had thoughts that I was going to be on the show "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant". So I ran out sick as a dog and bought a pregnancy test. It was negative, of course, and I felt soooo dumb. Until now, I kept that to myself.

I love QVC.  No, seriously. Like loooooveee.  Mostly I buy shiny pretty faux diamond jewelry.  Yep. I buy Diamonique.  You've maybe seen me wear some it if at Book Club.  I must have a dozen different stand-in engagement rings and wedding bands, cocktail rings, and flashy earrings.  This is not to say that my own engagement ring leaves much to be desired. On the contrary. But I can't help myself. Sometimes when I'm up late nursing Molly, I'll turn it to QVC to see if they're having a Diamonique segment with Tacori or Ritani and I'm thinking, "It's a good thing my money is in the other room because I really want that!"

*sigh*  I think I have a problem.

I guess my FFFC is that I just booked my next trip to ATX for the week of Memorial Day.. and I'm a little sad that DH won't be joining me, but I'm also kind of happy about that because it means I can relish in my favorite Austiny things without his grumbling.

(I know this is 100% normal, but we're still in the honeymoon stage here so I figure I should feel a little guilty about that.)

Same here! My DH was gone sun-wednesday and i slept so well! When he got back wednesday night i made him sleep in the other room because he had a cough. I let him back in the bed last night but i didn't sleep nearly as well.

and i actually really enjoyed my time "alone" when he was gone. yes, things were a tad harder having to do everything with DD myself, but it was a nice break away from dh. although now that he's back everything he does or doesn't do annoys me! I'm having a relearn to live with him!

I went to HH last night and left DH home with a rash covered grouchy DD. He kept texting me wanting to know when I was coming home because DD was refusing to go to bed, and I kept putting it off. I didn't get home till 9:45pm.

This AM DH asked me if I 'missed' going out to HH and bars. I said no, but it was nice to get out once in a while. If I thought I could get out weekly I would in a heartbeat.

I have had a sinus infection which turned into an upper respiratory infection this week, which made me super cranky b/c I felt like crap.  Add that DD did not want to nap this week and I was a raging B by the time DH got home every night.  So...now DD is finally napping today and I decide to play Farmville instead of napping too.

I'm getting really freaking annoyed that DD won't nap.  She has started to suck at going down for naps in the past week.  I just want her to sleep so I can sit on my a$$ and have something to eat and watch my recorded reality shows.

Nothing wrong with watching your recorded reality shows and eating while she either has playtime in her crib or playtime on mat/exersaucer/bouncer. It's good for them to learn to entertain themselves for short periods of time, IMO!

I filled my cup with Nesquik and added about a tablespoon of milk.  Mix it up and its like brownie batter, so freaking good.  And I hid behind the computer screen so that I wouldn't have to share with Layna.

Same here!! My confession: I had to go to hallmark earlier to pick up a bday present for a friend, and while I was there I went ahead and splurged and bought all the stuff for ds's Easter basket, and holy moly! DH would have a conniption fit if he finds out how much money I spent, when I could have/should have just gone to the dollar spot at target and spent a fraction of the cost! I couldn't help myself - all the stuff at hallmark was so stinking cute and different than the same-old same-old target/walmart stuff...

You would look so pretty on "I didn't know I was Pregnant."  Just make sure you start bringing extra towels to the potty with you.  Because that is where your next child is going to be born.

I thought my DH was the only furnace out there. Seriously - the man heats the bed up and extra 20 degrees. I sleep so much better when he's not in bed.  He also is really bad about falling asleep on the couch. I decided months ago if he can't put himself to bed, I'm not waking him. He sleeps on the couch a lot.  I actually don't mind b/c then I get the bed to myself until he finally wakes at 3am and realizes he needs to get in bed.

One of the girls in my sister's band is acting like a total asshat. Messing with another member's amp during the shows, introduced their show last night by saying, "Hi, I'm ***** and this is my band" when she's only been in the band for 3 months and my sister and another girl started it 3 years ago (and none of them have ever introduced it as being "their band", trying to get other members kicked out, etc. etc.

Well, I decided to go to their show tonight and it's about half because I love going and listening to them (because they rock) and half because I really want to fvck with this girl. I'm really looking forward to it.
