who Iggy Pop is? I was surprised at the number of people here at work that had no idea who he was. I mean, I'm not asking them to give me his life story, but they had NO recognition of him at all. They'd never heard of him.

I never head of iggy pop but I'll tell you something funny........when I was in HS back in 1999 in world cultures 2........we were doing bubbles and catergorizing different topics.

I got my paper back and i missed one.........under the music section.  I went up to the teacher and I said "I don't understand, what is a toopack"  (That's how I pronounced it)..............he's like Tupac!  He was a rapper that was killed.  You never heard of him!!!!!!

 I guess i lived a sheltered life.

The major thing I remember about him is the event where he was cutting himself with glass over his chest.....oh and that he's SUPER SKINNY

Aahh, Iggy. I remember back in the day, I listened to The Stooges a lot! I may have to go make a Iggy-centric station on Pandora now.

ETA -  He's always looked rough.
