Lump behind ear???!!!

I just discovered a pea-sized bump behind her ear...WTF! It wasn't there last night....Any ideas on what this is?

pretty sure they are just lymph nodes. i have one behind each ear that i can always feel. i can usually only feel dd's when she is sick though.

Hudson has one below his ear but down his neck a ways.  He's had it since he was about a month old and I was told that some babies have it but it will do them no harm.  The Pedi's son has one as well and he still has it and is in his 30's.

Everyone that sees Hudson freaks out about it.  I have to explain every time that it has been checked out and he is okay. 

It kinda sounds like either this above or a lymph node that could be swollen.

I'd have it checked out for sure if I were you.

I second the lymph nodes. Does your LO have a runny nose/congestion/cough?

She kindof just got over a super runny nose and a bit of a cough... she's been clear for a couple days though.  Thanks for the responses- I can tell my heart to start beating again! I think I will try to get her in to the doc though!
