Did you change the bottle nipple size??

I had no idea this had to be done!!! Our babysitter mentioned that DD was still using "slow" and that perhaps we should move to medium or fast flow. DD never seemed like she was having an issue, but I mainly BZf when I am with her.

Yeah, we changed about every 3 months. She started out on 1, and now is on 3.

We just changed to a medium flow, but only for bottles where she's wide awake. If we give her one while she's a little tired she tends to gag at the fast flow so we give her the slow ones for those bottles.

They say that if you BF you should only use the slow because it most closely matches your natural milk flow.

DS is EFF and we haven't changed the nipple. We tried the fast flow a couple weeks ago, and it ended up taking longer. It was just too fast for him, so he took more breaks.

If you don't think there's a problem, I wouldn't change.

I bought one pack matched the flow by poking holes. I dont plan on reusing the same for our next LO so I didnt mind

Yes- DS has been on Size 3 (fast flow) for about 6 weeks now....

If it's not a problem for your LO I wouldn't bother switching. We're on lvl 3 (fast flow) nipples but my guys are fairly aggressive eaters.

I used the 0-3mo size (1) until he was 5mo because I completely forgot we had more until DH was like, "hey what are these extra nipples for?" whoops.

so now we're on the 3-6mo size (2), and I'm starting to mix in the 6-9mo size (3). It doesn't seem like he cares either way, so I figure we'll just stick with what we have going.

We're still on level one....pedi said since it takes her less than 15 minutes to finish a bottle she doesn't need a faster nipple.

we are still using level 1 and DD is almost 7 months. She only gets bottles at daycare, but she is fine with the slow flow, thankfully.  One less thing to worry about...for now!

My little on is on medium flow.  I don't plan on moving to fast flow at all.  When she's 1, I plan on giving her cow's milk in a sippy cup and cutting out bottles so I am hoping to skip that last speed.

We have tried the medium flow a few times in the past few weeks and he spits up way more after a bottle with those - so we are sticking with the slow for a bit longer.
