Babies: 3 - 6 Months

We are still up

Just sitting here trying to keep my eyes open while Juliana sits on my lap talking and chewing on her fingers. My newborn slept more than my 5 month old! Her pedi told me that she isn't teething and I think he is full of crap!  Sleep

  • Meee tooo : (...DD napped none today. Our pedi said she actually is teething because she's chewing on her hand but I don't really see any difference in her gums. But when she does it a lot I put a little orajel on them & it seems to not be as bad. But she has been clingy & a crabby baby today. I'm pooped.

  • Ella just started waking up every 2 hours at night. Like freaking clockwork. I give her the boob and she goes right back to sleep. For another two hours that is. I've run out of ideas and officially hate those STTN badges. -_-

  • I know how you feel as well we are still up as well.

  • yupp. We're up too. DD has been majorly crabby and clingy lately. At least for us once I do get her to sleep she'll be out for a good 10 hours. My problem is she falls asleep on me and the second her head hits the crib she starts screaming. She was NEVER like this until about 2 weeks ago. How much longer will it last?!

  • Sorry we are a STTNer...but we are up here too. LO is not feeling so good today. The nurse sent us to the er at 10pm and here we are at home now with REFLUX they think...what a night!

I'm sorry you got sent to the ER for that! I know ER visits are slow and tedious and way more expensive than they rightfully should be, so it sucks that you had to go for something that could have been told to you at a pedi visit. Ronan's down now, and he usually sleeps until about 6, then up for about half an hour, then down again until about 10, so at least there's that, even though I still can't sleep. Insomnia's a biitch

she got chest xrays and a ct because soft spot wasn't soft enough...and both could cause her symptoms...cough and wheezing...i was fine with going cuz she's our first and it was freaking me out a little!

Ah I see well if there was more than one probable cause that's a bit different. I'm glad that in the end it wasn't anything major!

Glad she is okay!  I would freak, also.

  • Oh my! Glad it is just reflux, that sounds terrible.

I am still up, too. DD is sleeping though. We had an awful day on an airplane and she screamed for an hour when we finally got to my sister's house and she is NOT a cryer. I can't sleep, despite being exhausted, my stomach is upset from all the stress. I just wish I was home :(

This here, too! Not that I ever complained about a 5-6 hour stretch before, but if I ever get one again, I will be sure not to complain about it until he's, like, 10.
