OMG, pixy, your new pic!!! I've seen your brown dog (sorry don't know breed), but the other one reminds me of a dog I had from 7th grade until recently. I still miss her, but your pic makes me happy to think of her!

Pixy- are those girls on the Goodmamas page riling you up about politics? I am trying to ignore that post. It's like talking politics with my extremist right wing step-mom. Whenever she starts I just go into silent mode. Every once in a while I do the obligatory "hmm interesting".

I haven't even opened the post, but now I really want to! Lol!

I have decided not to read that thread. I saw it start with Obama bashing and I don't want my head to explode.
Yeah that's why I didn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. I would have gotten all riled up. I don't think she understands the basics Pixy.
P.S. Another little gem about my step-mom- she would adore Palin as president. THAT makes my head want to explode Jenny.
lol- this is too funny, bc my mom feels (at least felt) the same way! At the last election she told me she wanted Obama and Palin to run together.... I thought my head was going to explode! (and I should say she is very sweet, and I love her very much, but doesn't follow politics AT all)
My extended family (and DH's family) think I fell off the deep end because I am a vegan, and not going to the hospital for my upcoming birth... you can imagine what they thought when I worked for executive office last year ... lol, good thing I have brought DH over to the dark side with me!
Yeah I think stalking will coincide with my commute home. I am kind of glad since I have little self control & I don't love anything.
It's like we're the same person. Although I should also add that I DON'T NEED ANYTHING. I always seem to forget that important part too. Unless she secretly stalks trainers. I need those.

So many of those girls seem to be regurgitating what someone else told them not what they really know-KWIM. I don't really know how a bill passes therefore I wouldn't try and debate it with someone.
And yes Palin for President makes me want to vomit. I'm all for qualified women running and there are plenty of Republican women that are qualified she just isn't one of them, but hey she's hot so she should run our country-right!

My husband's ENTIRE family are die hard right-wingers. We refer to one of his uncles as the Sean Hannity bobble head.
I am atheist, own an environmental consulting company, went to public schools my whole life, voluntarily live in a neighborhood predominantly populated by minorities and have a sister who had kids young and receives government aid. Yeeeeaaaah... I don't debate politics with the inlaws any more.
Re: Late GM stocking tomorrow
I like how her "ish" is after mountain time. Like the time zone is subject to her whims lol.
And previews in the morning. harumph.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
Seriously, how can you not have a basic understanding of how bills are passed?
She's the one that was arguing with me yesterday about how the military (all of it) will still be paid, and now today it's all "woe is me!"

oh. oh my.
I don't usually comment on politics too much, but you have my sympathy.
Some of DH's (female) family members don't understand why I wouldn't support Palin - after all, she's a woman!
I agree. I stay out of all politics on TN/TB but Palin for Pres? That's just scary.
