I was just going to create a post about how much my back kills me from carrying LO around all day. Please tell me the carrier helps at least a little! someone purchased it off my registry but I have yet to receive it

I've not had any pain. Is the back cross clip between your shoulder blades?
I think so- I will make a point to look tomorrow. Thanks for the help- hopefully this is it!
Before I ordered mine, I had read a lot of stuff about people having back pain while using them. one lady posted that she had no back pain cause she moves the clip in the back to the point where it supports the weight properly. I moved mine around and I have been able to carry Annalise for a few hours without pain. Maybe it's cause she's only 7 lbs but it might help.
I have been told to wear it maybe for 15 minutes the first day..and increase by 5 minutes or so each day. Our stomach muscles (and back muscles) can be week after 40 weeks of pregnancy- so we need to build these muscles up again (gradually)..
I don't know about the Bjorn, but I love my wrap! I never have pain when I use it as long as I wrap DD high enough. Maybe try adjusting to a higher carry?

The bjorn is notorious for causing back pain - it's not a great carrier :-( Do make sure you are wearing high enough to easily kiss the top of her head as that can make a big difference. And if you want a carrier that's more comfy for you both, my siggy link has lots of suggestions - babywearing shouldn't hurt!
