Can I complain?! (NBR)

It is hard for me to get around the house w/ my broken ankle.  Well yesterday I finally cooked a recipe.  DH really liked it... It was a fritatta.   I get up this morning (It was late- around 11am after my shower, etc).  The dam* fritatta is sitting on the stove.. guess he had it for breakfast.. which is great.. but he couldnt stick it back in the fridge!  So now, its completely ruined!   ahhh! grrrr.  Thanks for letting me complain!

ugh, no worries. I hate that male gene of not putting things back in the fridge/putting empty containers back in the fridge.

DH and I had a blowout about this just last night! It's not too much to ask to just put up whatever you take out...

OMG my husband does stuff like this ALL the time. He never puts something back where he found it...EVER! Drives me nuts.

I know! What is wrong with men?  Does it really take that much more energy and brain power to THINK sometimes..

No kidding. Like, if you take a box of cereal out of the cabinet, it is NOT hard to put it back after you pour a bowl! Don't just leave it sitting on the counter! Or, if you use up the last bit of toilet paper, don't leave the empty roll sitting there! You can reach the cabinet with the toilet paper from where you are sitting...GRAB A NEW ROLL!! LOL

Well, I pick up/clean up so much after my husband that picking up/cleaning up after a child should be a breeze.

all of our tupperware is in a very limited space in a bottom cabinet.  it needs to stay organized if it's all going to fit.  anytime dh uses a container, all other containers are thrown around in that cabinet like something blew up.  i do not understand.  but there i am, with my 7 month pregnant belly, rolling on the floor trying to put everything back in its spot.

but i have to say, dh does love his food.  he'd never leave something out of the fridge if it would ruin it!  if i can only get him to transfer some of that love to tupperware.

Fritattas are like Spanish Tortillas.. they can be eaten at room temperature and typically (at least the Spanish ones) are served at room temperature. You can totally eat it if it has only been a few hours.

Fritattas are like Spanish Tortillas.. they can be eaten at room temperature and typically (at least the Spanish ones) are served at room temperature. You can totally eat it if it has only been a few hours.

 

Maybe I spelled it wrong... it had egg, sausage.. etc in it.. It was like  a giant omelet..  Didn't want to take the chance with it.  I know it looked a lot like "fritatta".

I have the same prob with tupperware as well... I need to learn to train my husband I guess...     Good for you that hur DH does not leave food out though!  I am always finding random things left out.. Makes me so mad!

I don't know how you spell it either... but they can be served at room temp.. it would have been fine. Or you could have heated it back up.

Oh well.. next time.
