Once you get a point where the number is controlling you like that, it can be a very bad habit- and HARD to break! The number will start controlling your entire life.
Let it go now!!

That's awesome! Just make sure that if you do gain a little you don't get totally discouraged. It's totally normal for weight to fluctuate a bit, so be sure you're thinking of things other than that number on the scale that can keep you going (like your clothes fitting better, getting healthier, etc.).

Femme -- my pants are SO much looser today. LOVED that. And actually made me wonder how I even wore them 8.5lbs ago! It's alarming how I was able to jam all that jiggle in there. And sadly, I can likely stand to lose another 15-20lbs before going down a size in them! LOL
I'm like a sausage in most of my jeans right now. It's so depressing. I really, really need to lose 15-20 pounds STAT. But I'm not doing jack about it right now. I'm a lot like you in many ways and right now my focus (obsession?) is elsewhere.
Soon enough I hope I get motivated to start getting healthier.

I was completely obsessed with weighing myself when I was on LA Weightloss. It got really bad when I got pregnant with my first and I was weighing myself 3 times a day. My husband did hide the scale on me and I flipped. I called him at work like some crazed crackhead needing her fix.
Re: I'm OBSESSED with weighing myself...
STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALE!
You are supposed to weigh once a week!
Good job so far though. I need to lose 15 at least and I have zero motivation.

Stop weighing yourself so much!
