Kate's amoxicillin. It's pink, bubblegum goodness sounds amazing right about now.
You know you feel horrible when you want to steal your sick kid's antibiotics in hopes of feeling human again.
My PCP can't get me in until 3pm today. I'm sure it is strep, like Kate. I feel awful that she had to feel this way too. Thankfully she is feeling better after 2 doses of her meds.
And, I am so thankful that we have a nanny to take care of her. There is no way I could have done that today. I'm just venturing out of bed for the first time since 9 last night.
Also, is the million page UO worth my time while I wallow in bed?

General gist of the UO- shopping cart covers and sewing shut women' on welfare's vajayjays so they can't have anymore kids.
I'm on my 9th day of amoxicillin with Lily for an ear infection, and I will be so happy when we are done with it tomorrow! How well does Kate take it? I find that I have to give her 0.5 mL at a time with the syringe and she keeps spitting it back out at me, turns her head, fusses, and bats my arms away. It is like giving medicine to a cat.
Hope your PCP can get you in soon! Strep is AWFUL.
Aww, I'm sorry you're feel bad now too! The only thing worse than having a sick baby is having a sick baby when you're sick too!

And, Emily, thanks for the synopsis on the UO Thread; I just couldn't even click on it or I'd be lost for hours!
UO People love or hate Bunny suites, people get butthurt over UOs about bunny suits. Covers vs. no cart covers, and finally a recap how awful welfare queens and their 5000 babies are.
I also love amoxicillin, smells like childhood.
Let me summarize for you.
-Cart covers are ridic.
-Preemies need to suck it up and stop being all AWry and stuff.
-No skittles for poor people
-Babies should not be dressed up as animals.
I think that covers about everything. Hope you feel better!
She gobbles it right up. She is an excellent medicine taker - I'm guessing it's because she has gotten prevacid every day for the past 5.5 months and has been on several other meds before.
Poor little bug! I guess I really shouldn't complain about 10 days of meds! Hope you both are feeling better soon.
I took it a lot as a child. And, it is pretty tasty.
As soon as I smelled it, it brought back childhood memories. Which is why I felt the need to drink it.
