So on Tuesday the girls were playing capture the flag with some of the other (older) neighborhood kids and having a blast at it. DH got home and mentioned that he has never played capture the flag in real life...just in a video game. Seriously? I thought everyone had played capture the flag at camp or school or in their neighborhood or whatever. Am I the weird one or is DH?

I wonder if it's a regional thing... I grew up in New England and we played it in gym and camp for sure. Other kids played it in their neighborhoods, but I didn't have a very kid-friendly neighborhood. DH grew up in the middle of nowhere Tennessee. But now we live in Texas and I would have thought Texas would be more like TN than MA. We also live in a cute little suburban town in a very very very kid-friendly, family oriented neighborhood so that changes things too.
Neither did I, but DH is a big video gamer...
Yes, both in my Ohio neighborhood and my cousins' in Maryland.
It was so much fun with my cousins because we used the entire end of two parallel cul de sacs and there were about 20-30 people playing at any given time.
