Sonohysterogram tomorrow

I think this is the last test needed prior to our first IVF cycle in May. Is this test much different from a HSG? Anything I should do to prepare?

    I just had one done yesterday.  When I got there they asked if I took ibuprofen in preparation before the treatment.  No one instructed me too before, but I was perfectly fine without it.  There was a little cramping, but it was so quick, it's hardly worth mentioning.

    When I had an HSG I was under anesthesia, but from I understand this is much easier.  GL!

    TTC #1 since 9/07
    Dx MFI, AMA, Endo, AMH .16
    Lap 10/09 Removed endometrioma, stage IV endo and adhesions
    Lap 2/10 Endometrioma cysts & adhesions returned.
    Ivf #1 4/10 Antagonist, ET Cancelled.
    IVF #2 2/11 A/ACP+E2V C/P
    IVF #3 6/11 Letrozole/Antagonist BFN
    IVF #4 11/11 Low stim Antagonist BFN
    Lap 3/12 Lap & Selective HSG
    Many cycles of Letrozole and LP HCG w/TI and LDN
    IVF #5 8/12 Low stim BFN
    IUI #1 10/12 BFN br> S&PAIFW

    very simple and quick and nothing like HSG.

    you will feel a little cramping and then it's over.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    They are easy.  You may want to take the ibuprofen before but I didn't and had no problem with cramps or anything.

    I agree with others - it is definitely easier than the HSG.  I had minimal pain and cramping.  GL tomorrow!
    TTC since 3/07. IVF#1 = canceled. IVF#2 = 0% fertilization. IVF#3 = BFN. IVF#4 = c/p.  
    Moving forward with Adoption 2017!

    Mine was very easy and painfree, like a pap.  As opposed to my HSG, which was hell.

    Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.
