I am going to try to tyoe this up fast. After having the c-section scheduled, my doctor decided that since I was 3cm and 50% she would try to induce me....I was terrified of relivng what I went through the first time but really wanted the VBAC. I was induced Monday they started the pit at 10am and it was a very long process to avoid complications.I was at 3cm ALL DAY and wanted so badly to give up many times....my nurses and doctors were amazing and really kept me believing that I could do it. At 8pm they broke my water and things picked up,it took 3 hours to get to 6cm then I went from 6cm to 9cm with just a lip in about 2 hours, I started pushing at 3:40am and Chase Edward came into the world at 4:15am on 4/5/11. It was the most amazing experience and I am so glad that I didn't give up. Chase was 7lbs 1oz at 39 weeks (My first was 8lbs 4ozs at 37 weeks) He is nursing well (and often) and we are getting settled in. DS#1 LOVES his little brother so much and has been so sweet with him. Good luck to all thoses stil hoping to VBAC, it was so much work but so worth the effort and the wait!
