I have been lurking because I am also looking into BoBs/Joggers. I looked at both in person, and I feel the Revolution will best meet my needs.I am looking for something that I can use to exercise, walk on trails, and possibly at the beach.I also wanted something I can use day-to-day.If you are a serious runner and only want to use the stroller for that I say go for the Ironman.I am not a serious runner and I find the versatility of the Revolution appealing. Now I just have to decide between the CE or SE? any opinions ladies?
We have the Revolution Duallie (double). It's been great for running (w/wheel locked), dog walks, trail walking, state fair, running errands, etc.
I like the versatility of the swivel wheel for tighter maneuvering. If I was only going to be using it for running/jogging and not other daily stuff, i would get a fixed wheel.
Love my Revolution Duallie! Same as PPs, I like that it has the ability to lock or be unlocked. We use it SO MUCH! Super easy to maneuver, great shades to keep the girls protected, comfortable for them to rest in. Highly recommend it!
I've had both. I started out with the fixed wheel and it was perfectly fine as a jogging stroller. My issue was that I stayed at home with my second child for 6 months before going back to work so I'd drop off my first at preschool, hit the trail for a run, then go to the store. I'd have to carry two strollers in my car because the fixed wheel just wasn't conducive to go around the town. So hubby and I talked it over, sold both strollers and bought a revolution. I now use that as my only stroller. Jogging, stores, amusement parks etc.
I'd say if you're only using it for running then you could get away with a cheaper BOB fixed wheel. If it's a stroller you'd be using all around then get the revolution.
We have the Ironman and it's great. I use it for walking, shopping or running. It's not as good for really small turns but I don't go to malls etc, so I don't mind. I'll probably get a double Ironman when this baby is here.
