Deep freeze question

If I want to store my bm in a deep freezer can I freeze it in the regular (side by side) freezer for a week or so and then move it to the deep freeze? I was told not to open the deep freezer often but how do you do that if you're adding milk every day?

    yes that is fine. dont worry about opening it- just open it when you are adding the milk- no big deal

    I'm doing the same thing. I'm freezing the milk in the kitchen side-by-side, and then when I get enough BM bags to fill a gallon ziploc (which is about 5-6 days), then I'm moving it to the deep freeze. ?

    I'm double-bagging because it helps keep it organized (I can label the gallon bag "october 08") and it's supposed to help prevent accidental leaks. ?It also helps keep the actual BM bags cleaner, so I don't have to worry about it when I use the thawed milk.?
