We are traveling to PA/NJ this summer from NC with our twins who will be around 2 at the time. We were thinking of splitting one of the legs up into two if there was a good place on the way to stop....something easy, toddler appropriate (we've done all the sightseeing things there are to do in northern VA/DC, etc and really would like to avoid the DC metro area & its traffic anyway) and easy to access & stay at. I guess I'm thinking something along the lines of a great wolf lodge type place or sesame place in PA type of thing??? I know there is a GWL in williamsburg but I'm pretty sure MH does not want to go near the w-burg area.
Any ideas?Thanks!
Re: fun area to stop w/ 2 yo twins b/w NC & PA?
In Richmond, there is Maymont https://www.maymont.org/Page.aspx?pid=217 & a small zoo https://www.metrorichmondzoo.com/. But depending on how late in the summer it is, it may be too hot. It gets really humid here. There is also Kings Dominion but not sure how fun that would be with 2 year olds. There is a small little <a href=https://rhttps://cobblestonespark.com/> just NW of Richmond.

The Children's Museum of Richmond is pretty cool. That might be a good place to take your LO's if the weather isn't cooperating. Check out www.c-mor.org for info.
