UTI relief??

I'm BFing and i think i'm coming down with a uti.  it's 9pm right now and i'm dying to take some AZO pills to make the sensation go away but not sure if it's safe.  Any of you have any experience?  Will check with doc as soon as i can call tomorrow but need relief NOW.

    You poor thing! UTI pain is the worst!! I googled it because I was curious and it doesn't look like there is a clear answer. I would play it safe and wait to talk to your doctor OR take the azo and pump and dump and feed LO pumped milk. I used to get UTIs all the time so I can only recommend that you drink A TON of water (maybe with a little baking soda in it) and cranberry juice. I'm so sorry!!! Take care!

    I am recovering from a nasty kidney infection (on both sides!).  It was sooo painful, I had to go to the ER!  My Dr. told me that AZO was fine to take while breastfeeding, I did and it helped so much, and my girls are fine!

    i tore some of my urethra and got a UTI had to go to the hospital with a fever of 102.3 bleh. but they put me on antibiotics and it's working great and i can BF just fine but DEF call your Dr tomorrow and see what they say. if you get a fever go to the ER. hope everything clears up for you soon! also use your bottle you got from the hospital to clean yourself up with to pee. like pee and squirt it helps alot too
