Note to self...

...do not try to wear non-maternity control-top panty hose when you are 33 weeks pregnant.

I've been wearing non-maternity panty hose fine throughout my pregnancy. I just bunch them up under my belly. But whatever pair I am wearing today is super tight and super uncomfortable. I think I'm going to go to the restroom and take them off. There's only 3 hours left in the day and I don't have any meetings.

  • I once had to cut into the waist band when I wore non maternity hose to work with DD. It seemed to help some of the tightness.

Yes, I did a little cut in the top part which is the tightest but it still seemed too tight. It was so nice to just take them off! What we ladies do for fashion. I told my co-worker today that I think the new company dress policy should say that if you are 30 weeks pregnant or more, you can wear yoga pants, t-shirts and tennis shoes to work :-)

  • The maternity tights were a little pricey, so I bought some regular tights a size up.  Even they are getting tight now though.

  • I am impressed that you went this long without needing maternity hose!

What I was pg, I tried a pair of panty hose that I bought at Motherhood and they were pretty terrible. They kept feeling like they were falling down.

Then for my shower I plunked down the money for maternity Spanx and OMG, they were SO comfy!! They were super supportive and totally worth the money.

  • I am impressed you wear hose in general! I try and do that as seldom as possible (and definitely never when I was pregnant).Big Smile
