So my SIL is pregnant (the one who I am forcefully throwing a lingerie shower for in Vegas this weekend when she is getting married). Well when we first found out she was pregnant my MIL told me she wants this baby to be a girl "Emma just doesn't need to be the only girl" (said rudely). Yah well SIL found out it's a BOY! After my terribly sh!tty week this was just a ray of sunshine.

Muahahaha! I know exactly the feeling. DH's family has one other baby and it's a girl almost exactly a year older than Olivia. MIL kept saying that we "have to have a girl" because she already has a granddaughter (and has regularly talked about preferring boys over girls in general, going as far as wishing she was a man). When we found out Olivia was a girl, I was soooooo damn happy.

So I feel ya! High five!

Nessia-Yup. In the insistence on MIL yup her mom wanted the Daughter in Laws to throw her daughter a shower but not just any shower a lingerie shower. I bought comfy pjs that if she chooses to breastfeed will be more practical than a maids outfit.
