Is there a place to find published data for VBAC success rates by hospital? I am pretty set on my provider at this point, but I was just curious to see hospital success rates for the Dallas area. Thanks!
Here you go. VBAC rates by hospital are down at the bottom. I think they are showing VBAC rates as a percentage of all deliveries after cesarean. Not VBAC rates as a percentage of women who tried for a VBAC and were successful.

Can I ask who your provider is? I'm in the Dallas area too, and curious about VBAC friendly providers.
I use Dr. Joseph Behan who delivers at Dallas Presby. I am set on him not necessarily because of his VBAC friendliness, although he has encouraged me from the beginning of this pregnancy to try for one and is always optimistic, but because he practices NFP only (doesn't prescribe birth control), which I prefer to support for personal reasons. So, just be aware of that before you choose him, since I know that's not on most people's agenda

Dallas Presby was only 1% -- have you checked with our local ICAN chapter? There's a yahoo group that is really active. I've only been reading and participating for a few months and I don't remember anything about Dallas Presby but they may have more up to date experiences since that data linked to it 2008. Good luck!

Oh, I thought I saw something about 27%? I'll have to check it out again.
The 27% you saw was their CS rate.
Haha great.
Well, at least their CS rate is below the average:-) It looked like they had almost 1000 VBACS there. They deliver A LOT of babies at that hospital if I am reading this correctly.

Thanks, lady!
