Baby Monitors

I am sure this has been asked before so I apologize in advance. What baby monitor are you going with and why? I have one on  my registry that I thought was good but the reviews it got is horrible so I am back at the starting point.

We registered for the Summer Infant Best View....it was in Baby Bargains and it gets better reviews than most video monitors on Amazon.

We are getting this one. We didn't register on Amazon so we will be purchasing this oursevles. We liked the reviews and the price is nice too!

We got the Lorex video monitor. Haven't used it yet but it looks pretty darn awesome!

We registered for the Angelcare Deluxe movement and sound monitor.  I have 2 women at work that swear by it.

Same here. We just received this at our shower last weekend. I kinda want to get it out and try it...

We tried it out! Put it in the babys room and the reciever in our room (farthest wall away). It worked great. We even whispered VERY quietly and could still hear. I love the sound activated feature to avoid static. DH took it outside and it still worked great. However, her room is near the front yard. We didn't try the back.

We got ours from BRU because we had some returns but I chose it off Amazon. I know it's more expensive at BRU though. Would have done Amazon if we were paying. We just did the one reciever since we really only need one. Our home is a one story.

This but I'm horrible and constantly look @ BRU and now they have one with video monitor so I am going to exchange the one I recieved

any monitors that you can have in baby's room and toddlers room with 1-2 receivers so that we can still check on dd and also check on the baby, like just switching channels or something?
