Have you tried it? What are your thoughts? In what form did you use it? I started wheat grass shots this a.m. I got the juice frozen into individual shots so you thaw jsut two at a time. It is NASTY but I put it in my smoothie and couldn't taste it. Does anyone else know antyhing about it (ie is powder better than liquid, can you grow it yourself, etc.)
Re: Wheat Grass
I took it with orange juice.
Warning - it can greatly stall your response to stims. It did for me, and when I "polled" others, it was true for others as well. I'm in the "don't do it" camp with WG, sorry. It does seem to do well for AMA's with DOR, but I just couldn't find enough MEDICAL info to support it's use.
I only did it a couple of times. If I had to do it again, I would have taken it more consistently. I am AMA and DOR.
I would get fresh shots are Jamba Juice. They literally grind it in front of you. It wasn't as terrible as I thought. I did the shot straight up. They serve it with an orange slice chaser!
I've used the frozen shots, sounds like what you're taking. The brand is Evergreen. It was the nearest I could find to fresh WG without going to a proper juice bar. The amount is small so I just gulped it down in 1 shot.
As for whether it had any effect, I'm really not sure...

It's a BOY!!!
I have tried them. I have done fresh shots and the frozen ones from Fresh Market. I am AMA and DOR and never responded well to stims. Unfortunately, I did not really see a change, but I also did not take it consistently, which is what I hear you should do for it to have a positive effect.
It is also my understanding that fresh WG is better than the pill or powder. I usually took it as a straight shot with no chaser. The taste wasn't bad, and heaven knows I have had worse!
