prayers and thoughts needed - LONG but positive story

So after my not so great response to the stim drugs for IVF, I decided to be myself. You know the one, the strong, stubborn, kiss my a$$ if you get in the way of something I want, Michele.  I pushed my doctor after he wanted to cancel the IVF cycle.  What was the harm if we kept stimming through the rest of our meds? A failed cycle? A potential conversion to IUI if there weren't enough eggs to retrieve? We'd come this far, what was the harm. We pushed from our original trigger date of last tuesday to thursday and then again to Friday and then to this morning.  I have 7-8 potential mature follicles and potential eggs. Got the dr. instructions to trigger tonight with retrieval set for 9:30am on Monday.  we still have a way to go - praying there are enough mature eggs and they fertilize into beautiful strong embryos to reimplant and hopefully become a baby(ies).  So we're going forward. And I will kick infertility's ass if its the last thing i do. I will have good eggs on Monday, they will fertilize into awesome embryos and they will implant and become healthy babies.  Will send an update Monday but any prayers you have or strong positive thoughts are invaluable.  We haven't told our family we pushed the doctor and that we are retriving yet. Don't want any more hopes lifted but our own until we're sure.  But I know you women, you're strong, stubborn and generous in spirit like myself.  And that's what I need.  (who said i can't ask for help when I need it? - my major fault but am working on it).

If anyone can kick infertility in the a$$, it's you!!!  I'm praying those follies keep on keepin on and you have a great egg retrieval on Monday.  I'm praying for you and will be thinking of you on Monday.
