Swim Lessons

This past weekend DS got to hang out in our friend's pool and he loved it.  So I was thinking that maybe we should sign him up for some swim lessons this spring/summer.  Any suggestions on where?  Bonus if you include how much they charge.  I found Aqua Tots online but couldn't find out their price without registering on the site.

Re: Swim Lessons

  • Not sure what part of town you are in but we go to Nitro and love it. They are in Cedar Park. It is $67 a month for a once a week session.

  • Last year Luke took "lessons" at the Round Rock Y. It was the perfect "get to know the water" course before summer came along. I think Saturday lessons are $35/40 for non-members. I just signed Luke up for another round of lessons, but in the older class. I'm excited to see what he learns this year.

I can't remember their prices but you can call and ask them all the questions you want. They're very helpful and friendly.

I second Emler!  We love the facility and the teachers too :)  They're great with little kids.

  • I THIRD Emler!  They are fantastic!  They really know what they are doing and are great with kids!  check out their website at iswimemler.com

The sessions are about 24 weeks long for a 30 minute class once a week for fall and Spring and then they have a summer session that is a little shorter.  There is an annual fee of $25 and then I believe the classes are around $200 - $380 depending on the session and if you need to pay the annual fee.  They also have open swim times where you can go up and let your little one practice.  :)

    Good luck
