Dance classes/school

Hi ladies.

I am looking for a dance class for my 3 year old.  Do any of your dc attend dance class and where?  So far I have information for Alisa's Dance Academy in Westlake and Ballet Austin.  I am just looking to see if there is anyone out there with first hand experience.

Sounds like you are looking for something kinda central but DD has been taking dance at Dance Unlimited in Buda for almost a year now and she loves it.

Her teacher is really great with the little ones and DD has really learned a lot - it's a combo class.  They do tap, ballet and some tumbling.

Has anyone done or looked at Dance Discovery?  https://austin-dance.org/  I always thought it sounded neat, from thier website:

"This whole class is a story from beginning to end incorporating age appropriate skills in ballet, jazz, creative movement,and tap. The class begins with a ballet story and then students repeat the ballet skills once more in the same order to traditional music. The story engages them on their level allowing them to learn more skills because they are actively focused for a longer period of time."

the family i nannied for all through college and grad school goes to their classes. the girls always loved it! michelle denny and emily roe are awesome teachers. we tried it out with ruby maybe 8 or 9 months ago, but she wasnt quite ready, so we didnt sign up.  im waiting til 3 to try again.

DD does a creative dance class at dancexplosion (in circle c area) and we love it.  It's a ballet/tap combo, they also have some other choices for the little ones.

M&R-Let me know if you sign M up maybe we can get the girls in the same dance class. I really want Em to go with someone she knows.

I will!  Let me know if you sign E up too! It's mostly a pipe dream now with the job situation... but I can't help but think about it! :-) Megan loves to dance!

aubrey too! is M doing zippidy-do-dah? i bet they'll be in the same numbers for the recital! she's in the 11am wednesday class.

I went to a toddler and me trial class and it was fine. They also have 3 yr and up regular dance classes (no mommy). Down south. My friend's daughter works there and has been going there 20 years or so.
