Aniston Klaire.....we would call her Klaire. We want a name that would incorporate Ann because it is a family name on both sides without naming her Ann.

I feel like Aniston doesn't work and I prefer 'Claire' to 'Klaire'.
You can incoporate 'Ann' with Annie, or Anna, Annabel...etc.

I really like Claire (Klaire just looks wrong to me somehow). Aniston is NMS, but there are a lot of beautiful "Ann" names -- Annabel, Anna, Annette?

Just because Jennifer Anniston is pretty doesn't mean you should use her last name as your little girl's first name. Ann is fine. And Claire is spelled with a C.

Like Jennifer Aniston? Definitely not my style. I would pick one of the many other Ann-related names. And Claire is so much better than Klaire! Cultures that would spell "Claire" with a K would use Klara-- Klaire seems so cobbled together and corny. It sounds like a Kardashian name.

Its not because of her we just like the name. I don't like that name Ann it's is my middle name and I do not like it. I like Claire with a "C" as well, my husband likes "K" but we haven't decided yet. Thanks for you input even though it was slightly rude.

I love Claire!

Spelling Claire with a K is not a good idea in my opinion. Because "Claire" is a common (not popular, but common) name, most people will end up spelling it that way (or the second most common spelling, Clare). To me, changing it to a K doesn't add anything except confusion.

I also think that if you decide to go with Aniston, you should prepare for about 95% of the people you know to ask "like Jennifer Aniston?" If it frustrates you, I would FOR SURE go with something else. There are lots and lots of names that incorporate Ann!

Thanks so much! Yeah we are prepared for people to assume it is because of Jennifer Aniston. My husband and I really like to ston, stin, sten endings. Almost every name we have picked out has had that ending sound. We also like Alexa but we don't want to use it this time because we want use both Alexa and Claire as first names.

I think it will forever be associated with Jen. And I don't think it sounds very attractive. I can see anus jokes getting made. Or maybe I'm just perverted like that.

Klaire is bad...really, really bad. Are you naming a Kardashian? Claire is nice. Clara is lovely.

I guess I am in the minority, because I like Aniston. I know a lady named this and she was born way before Friends was a household name. If we only used names that no celebrity had ever had, we would have no names! Everyone has had that name at some point or another, the question is, can you live with the association?

I do agree with the previous posters...Klaire is just awful. It gives the impression of being uneducated or just really into the annoying Kardashian people. Go with Claire. It will age well with her, it's classic, beautiful and you won't be able to say "clearly, she was born in 2011!" or "her mom must have watched a lot of E! Network". Just my two cents

Unless Aniston is a family name, I say ditch it. I don't think it's the worst...but there are probably a hundred "ann" names that I like more. How about:

Annabelle, Anita, Anika, Anette, Marianne, Julianne, Roxanne, Suzanne, Joanna, Hannah, Lana, Ana

Switching out C's for K's is takes names from classy to trashy in record time. Stick with Claire. Ask your husband if he wants his daughter to grow up being associated with the Kardashians.
