It's NMS. It just doesn't "do-it" for me. However, I think it is a fine name. Passes the easy to spell, easy to pronounce rule. It also fits with Michael and Ryan. And I know a lot of other people like Mason. I hope that you are not using it for a girl, though. I also hope Michael and Ryan are boys, as well. I'm not into the boys' names being used for girls.

? No, I would be using it for a boy. I also dislike when people use boy names for girls, I think of Mason as a boy name.

OOPS! I meant I hope you are NOT using it for a girl! Sorry, ladies!
I don't mind it for a boy, but it reminds me of freemasons or an occupational name. Your other boy names seem to be a slightly different style (I could see a Gabe with your sibset). But Mason could certainly work!
I was iffy on this name for awhile, mostly because i was a carpenter/mason in the Army! So I always just associate it with the trade. But.... it's actually started to grow on me! A co-worker has a little boy named Mason, I think its cute and will work well when the child's older. It sounds great with the other names:)
LOVE the name Mason. Would've used it, but just couldn't get my husband on board with it....he was set on Cameron and it flows better with his middle and last name.
I love the name Mason for a boy and was seriously considering it until I found out I was having a girl. I think it goes well with the other names also.

i think of ryan and michael as traditional names.
mason, IMO, is more trendy as it's a last name.
i'm not a fan of mason, but it's not horrible.
Exactly this. I'm surprised people think it goes with Michael and Ryan.
I also agree. It's an okay name but trendy.
