TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Femara question

So, I am starting a new drug tomorrow (it's our drug to push up ovulation while killing time for our next IVF cycle). I'm not expecting much but I was wondering what time of day to take this drug? I read it can cause drowsiness so I was planing on taking it at night. Thanks!

Re: Femara question

  • My dr had me taking it at 9 pm.

  • I took mine at night, too, and it also helped with the nausea and slight dizziness I was experiencing (which I don't think is common for everyone).  Good luck with the meds, though.  I hope you have no s/e and great results!

  • I didn't have any SE other than increased O pains ( which meant it was doing its job I guess)  I think  my RE did recommend taking it before bed because that is what I did.

    PAL/PGAL Welcome

  • I was always told to take it at night, also.  I didn't have any side effects from it though.

  • I always took it at night as well and never had any side effects from it (love it compared to Clomid)

  • I wasn't given a time of day to take it. Rather, just instructions to take it at the same time each day.

I did take it at night, but that was so that I could sleep in in the mornings and not have to set my alarm to swallow a pill.

I didn't experience any side effects.
