Mine have always had rice cereal and fruit, but since they have their teeth, I am wondering if we shouldn't switch to something else. I tried oatmeal with fruit and they hated it. They love dried cereal with a cup of milk on the side, but I was't sure that was enough. I give them eggs and pancakes on the weekends, but I need something quick and easy during the week.
TIA
Re: What do your toddlers eat for breakfast?
i think its enough. mine usually have a waffle w/ apple sauce on top + some fruit. when i make pancakes or waffles, i make a huge batch and freeze them.
sometimes they have fruit, cheese and dried cereal.
we're going to do yogurt this week so that they can get more practice with a spoon but i am not looking forward to this at all.

For breakfast, we usually offer; a fruit, a protein, and a grain. B-fast usually looks like this:
a banana/apple/orange/grapes, an egg/yogurt/bfast meat, and 1/2 a waffle/bagel/e-muffin
DD doesn't always eat it all, but at least she gets a variety of healthy stuff to choose from.
http://tidetravel.weebly.com/index.html
blueberry waffle (frozen) and links of sausage (only one DD will eat the sausage), banana or a fruit cup, and a handful of dry cereal (Cheerios). I do give them small bowls of yogurt (messy but they're getting the hang of it) sometimes or a GoSqueeze (blended fruit puree that they can drink out of).
One DD will eat hash browns and scrambled eggs (DH usually makes this on the weekends).
thats actually a good idea - i think i will put the yogurt in the freezer first so its like frozen yogurt. thanks!
