Infertility

Feel so dumb asking this.

I had my IVF transfer on Friday and today, I wasn't even thinking...I jumped off the back of something at my parents house and landed really hard on the ground.  It was probably a 10 ft. jump and I really messed up my knee.  I don't know what I was thinking.  Do you think this could have a negative impact on a possible implantation.  I know, such a stupid question but I am so worried and don't want to bother a nurse about this.  Thanks for any replies.

  • I'm not a doctor, but if I had to guess, I would say that shouldn't be too worried.  Other people get pg all the time even while doing crazy things.  As long as you didn't get trauma directly to your admoninal area, you should be safe.  But, I would still check with your nurse, they will be able to reassure you.  I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

On another note...I can't believe you jumped off something 10ft high!  You're a dare devil!  I hope you're okay though and your knee heals quickly.  Sending healing wishes.
