After much consideration, I think I am going to get a BOB Revolution Duallie. As I said in a previous post, I am VERY lucky that my ILs have offered to buy it, so I'm not too ocncerned regarding the price (they are aware and are still willing to purchase it...). However, my concern is the infant car seat adaptor. Apparently, the new one is not available until the summer. However, something I read on Amazon has me concerned. Does the current car seat adaptor for the duallie really only hold ONE infant car seat? That just seems crazy if it's true. Maybe I'm better off with a snap and go when they're infants...
Re: BOB Revolution Duallie infant car sea adaptor
True. It only accommodates one infant car seat. The piece snaps onto the front of the seats, accommodating either an infant seat and a snack tray, or two snack trays. Which makes tons of sense for people who have an older child and a younger child, but doesn't work for people with twin infants.
I'm not aware of a newer model accommodating two carseats, but I haven't researched that.
Yup, the pp is right. It only takes one car seat. It's a bummer. I even contacted the BOB company to ask and they verified it.
Funny! I just emailed the conmpany and am waiting for a reply. The new adaptor doesn't come out until the summer, and it seems to be compatible with fewer car seats. I'm wondering if there's a reason and hoping it's because now it can be used with two car seats. Fingers crossed!
Lurking...
I have a Bob and we used a snuzzler with the seat fully reclined when my little guy was small to get away without getting the car seat adapter. It worked perfectly and he was a preemie, so he was pretty tiny when he came home.
