I have an appt with my RE on Wednesday for a saline infusion to see my DOR (I think). Has anyone done the saline infusion, what should I expect? I did all my b/w and they all came back good. I will be doing my first IUI this cycle.
They really aren't a big deal at all. No pain involved..some people have slight cramping during/after but I've never really heard any horror stories. I didn't have any cramping. It didn't really feel any different than a normal u/s or PAP to me.
They will pump saline into your ute so you probably want to bring a pad/liner because the saline will come out after the procedure.

This! Depending on how much saline they use, I would bring a couple pads

Thank you ladies, it was not bad at all and the good news is I got the OK to start injectibles for IUI#1. I started my follistim tonight and have b/w and u/s on Monday.
Re: Saline infusion??
I've had two.

TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
SIS info HERE. This is to evaluate the interior structure of your ute.
DOR dx and assessment is generally starts with evaluating your cd3 FSH/E2 levels, AMH, AFC, and your response to stims.
GL on your procedure. Mine was like a pap, and there was some saline leakage, so wear a pantyliner.
