Re: On a serious note:

  • Ugh, Sometimes I'm not sure about Aubrey. I do really like it. I just haven't had that "A HA!" moment when I know I've found the perfect name.

  • Its fine, but I bet there will be lots of Aubreys being born this year and next, based on the popularity of Teen Mom 2.

  • I think it's pretty (and correctly spelled yay!) just beware of it's growing popularity

You're so right. Dammit. I hadn't thought of that. We have a friend named Aubrey which brought it to our attention. I don't want my daughter to be the 15th Aubrey in her class though. We used to like Brooke Lynn but it seems very popular too. Never mind, back to the drawing board!

  • I generally like Audrey better than Aubrey. but I think Aubrey Danielle is the better combination.

On some of your other names... Morgan Danielle?

    aubrey danielle flows well, though.

  • It's a nice name, but I prefer Audrey over Aubrey.

I'm with you.  How about Danielle Aubrey, or Morgan Aubrey?

  • I like the combo fn and mn.... but for me, I just can't picture Aubrey on a girl because I knew an elderly man with this name....

I know a girl named Audra, which is similar and very nice imo :)

  • I think the pairing is nice. Aubrey is a unisex name while Danielle is definitely feminine.

I was thinking the same thing; I like the D in both names.

I agree with all of this.  I think Morgan Danielle is beautiful, and much less popular than Aubrey.  I also really like the sound of Carys Danielle.
