sterilizing wubbanub pacifier?

Anyone ever sterilized one of these (paci's with stuffed animal attatched)?? I have a microwave steam sterilizer and would like to throw it in, but don't want to ruin it...

    You'll probably have to dangle the pacifier part in boiling water if it doesn't detatch somehow.

    You can also toss it in the washing machine in a mesh bag or a tied pillowcase for general washing.  But to truly sterilize it, you have to hold the paci in boiling water like the pp suggested.
