Baby Showers

Signature cocktail

So my shower is next sat. and after a conversation with a friend and my mom, we came up with an idea, to have a signature cocktail since my shower is sort of an evening, sit down dinner kind of event. since my colors (no theme, just color palette) are light turquoise and orange, we decided to serve a blue drink on a martini glass with an orange garnish...here's the thing, what kind of drink? can anyone suggest an alcoholic drink that is blue or light blue? I'm thinking curacao would be the way to go but we are having a mental block, we can't come up with anything! lol

Re: Signature cocktail

  • I was a bartender before and you can always serve a Blue Long  Island Ice Tea, instead of using the cola, use the blue curacao instead.
  • How about a Hpnotiq Martini!! They are so good! I have them when I go to BoneFish Grill. I found this recipe online but you might want to play with the amounts.

    4 oz Hypnotic liquer
2 oz Malibu (coconut) rum (I like Bacardi Coco or Parrot Bay instead of Malibu)
2 oz pineapple juice (I only use one though).

Sounds delish, not that I'll be drinking it :( but I love parrot bay I think it adds a nice sweetness to the drink. Thanks!
