I don't understand the wool doubler. Is it interlock? Does it absorb or prevent urine from getting to outside of the diaper? How do you wash it? I guess I'm used to seeing wool as covers, not on the inside.

It is similar to interlock. It is thin and soft and felted. The reason wool works as a cover is because it can absorb so much. Thus it can be used as a doubler inside the diaper. No it does not prevent moisture from getting to th outside - it is just a very thin but effective doubler.
