Dh and I are liking Giuliana Grace (possible nn is Gigi) as our little girls name right now. DH is part Italian and likes the Italian spelling of it but Im unsure. Which spelling on Giuliana?[Poll]
I really like the Italian spelling for it but it may be easier and less confusing to spell it Juliana. I also like the nn Gigi. Its super cute and you couldn't do that with Juliana.
I think that Giuliana is lovely, but yes, she will have spelling confusion. If that is a dealbreaker for you, use Juliana, but no name is spelled correctly all the time.
Don't spell it Guliana. The first i is necessary. Guliana would be GOO-lee-on-uh.

I think anna and ana have different endings. I am not sure how to spell it out. -an-na or -ah-na. Which do you prefer then I would pick the spelling with the J.

I was just about to say this. Cross Guliana off the list, it's not the name you're looking for.

I personally hate Giuliana. I think it's really ugly.
I do, however, love Juliana.
