I have seen the name Eden brought up several times in the past couple weeks and I just was searching Etsy for cute nursery decor. I came across the cutest pillow with a baby girl's name on it: Edynn. I think the spelling is adorable.
Maybe one day....our first is going to be Claire, but figured I'd give the suggestion to those still deciding!
To see the pillow:

No matter how you spell it, it's pronounced the same.
Do your kid a favor and spell it correctly so she can have personalized stuff that isn't special order. People will look at your daughter's name and think you are either 1) a teen mom or 2) uneducated.
Just the honest truth.

Like I said, we are not naming our child this. I think it's pretty regardless of the different spelling. Everyone always LOVES to hate different spellings of a name.
To each their own.
Because you can't just spell something incorrectly for the sake of it. I couldn't spell kitchen 'kytchin' if I wanted to it's just wrong and no one would accept it. I don't know why it's OK for names.

Than why not go with Clayre?
True.
But no worries there, definitely not my style.
As for Eden/Edynn...sorry I even brought it up. Wow.
People do tend to over use y's when trying to be trendy, so now when someone see's an alternative spelling of a name using a y instead of an i they get that feeling.
I'll admit, I'm not one for misspelt names meant to look 'cool' but Edynn does look like a pretty name. So hey, you have at least one person who agrees Not my style personally, but I wouldn't think 'oh god yuck' if I saw it.
I appreciate your comment. Thanks!
And to me the spelling looks more like Eddin than Eedin.
Cute pillow.
I like Eden, spelled this way.
