Does LO cry out in his sleep?

I read that its normal for babies to cry a bit in their sleep.

But LO will let out one loud scream.  It always startles me so much and I think something is wrong.  I am wondering if this is a nightmare? Do babies even have nightmares?

Everynight for the last 3 month DS does it. His pedi said it was fine.

He'll occasionally cry out. I'll listen for a couple minutes to determine whether he needs something, and then go back to sleep because I hear nothing further. Some nights I will get up and poke my head in his room to make sure he's ok, but usually he's fine.

W does occasionally. Babies dream, so I figure he's dreaming about something that startled him.

lo does it all the time. he even sniffles like he's been crying but he never fully wakes up.

LO does this too, but she actually cried and then sniffled in her sleep the other night. I think she might be teething and was in some pain.
