I am pregnant!!!.... April Fools!

Ugh! My FB is blowing up with 'I am pregnant' crap... Why can't people think of anything else cleaver. What is the best fools you done or was fooled on?

 

I think my best fooled on is this weather... Puxatony Phil came out on Feb 2nd and predicted that we would have a early spring... He was like a couple months late... "April fools... here is some snow! "

Today is my bday and when I was born in 1980 it was snowing. I think it is kind of ironic. I am in PA too and woke up to some snow.

I had 2 friends say they were pregnant on FB last year as an april fools and at the time neither of them were. but one has just given birth to a little  boy 8 weeks ago and the other one has been in slow labour for 2 weeks and is due today. Talk about being careful what ya wish for lol. My DH sent me a text saying he had been in a fight at work and had got the sack and i have to admit there was a split second were i believed it then i realised the date and text back saying "really? how nice for you. my waters just broke"

FI sent me a text this morning saying he had just gotten a ticket to the tune of $125 for doing 78mph in a 65mph zone! He has a lead foot, so I believed it at first....Then I had to think about the date! He almost got me.

MH just did the same thing to me! Texted me and said that he was just told that today was his last day at work! I think fake labor is a good revenge. Thanks for the idea!! Haha

My DH and I buy a lot of lottery tickets and we like to gamble -- With that being said, DH sent me a text just a little while ago and it said... "Whit, I just won $1000 on a scratch off!"  Totally forgot what today was and was totally fooled!

OMG. When I logged onto Facebook today there were a TON of "I'm pregnant" and "We're getting married." I was like seriously... That's all you can come up with? Haha.

I have yet to announce that I am pregnant, so I did it today on facebook. We will see how many people believe me (well those who have not seen me in a while).

haha I told my family I was pregnant as an april fools joke last year. Although this was just after my dad bought my wedding dress for my August wedding for me so it really freaked my mom out. haha

NOT a big fan of april fools day, so we skip it! PLUS, I have SO many friends who suffer from infertility or have had losses that that "joke" is very cruel!

Would totally agree!! I lost my first pregnancy in January 2010 and I was still hurting by April... and I remember my one good friend saying she was pregnant and it just made me very upset. (not sure why I was so upset) but it ended up being a joke and I was in tears over it...

I dont find pregnancy an April foold appropriate topic....Idk why but it just irks me!

Now the time I came home with a realistic looking fake tat and fake piercings galore...that also looked real and scared the crap out of my mom...not that was a good one!

So far BIL/SIL have both posted it along with their 13 yo saying' i'm going to be a big sister again'. I wanted to call them out in a not so nice way as when we announced this pg MIL wasn't happy with how we did it and got BIL/SIL mad at us about it as well. I was soooooo close to typing 'Really? Does your mother know? Is she okay with finding out on FB? Ohhhh....soooo many secrets BIL, that's not nice'. I held back though. Damn high road.
