My friends are going to FLIP about the twins
As I mentioned below in my SATC poll... Most of my girlfriends have always thought of me as the "Samantha" of the group. Not wildly promiscuous. But flirty and and enjoyed partying. And never "needed" a man. Dropped them like hotcakes when they annoyed me, etc.
So - there was lots of surprise and many comments when I was the first to get married (at 26). "I never thought you would settle down before me" etc.
Then - there was more shock with DS. My girlfriends - half of whom are still single - sat at a table with me at my baby shower and all had the same *deer in headlights* look. Incredulous that lkstor was having a baby. How very grown up and BORING.
When I tell them about the twins - I might need to have 911 on the other line to send an ambulance. Seriously.
